Aliplast acquires Italian PET recycling plant from Gurit

The plastic recycling specialist Aliplast, which is a subsidiary of the Italian company Hera Group, has acquired a PET recycling facility in the northern Italian town of Carmignano di Brenta from Gurit Italia. The transaction is expected to increase Aliplast’s annual capacity by approximately 15,000 tonnes of recycled PET. The purchase price was not disclosed.

The site in Carmignano di Brenta was acquired by recycling company Aliplast (Ospedaletto d’Istrana, Italy; www.aliplastspa.com), a subsidiary of the Hera Group (Bologna, Italy; www.gruppohera.it).
