Hera Group ranks first in the Multi-Utility & Water sector of the Dow Jones Sustainability World & Europe Index 2022

The Hera Group is confirmed as the number one company in the Multi-Utility&Water sector of the Dow Jones Sustainability World & Europe Index for the third consecutive year.

This was announced by S&P Global, the US rating and analysis agency. The new ranking of the international stock market index, which assesses sustainability performance in the Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) dimensions, awarded the Hera Group an overall score of 90/100. Specifically, the ratings obtained were 89/100 in Environment, 91/100 in Social and 91/100 in Economic & Governance.

A careful production chain, sustainable production processes and circular economy projects allow us to manage this resource responsibly. In fact, we process over 100,000 tonnes of recovered plastics each year, generating around 90 per cent new plastics, and minimising the impact on the environment.
